Complete Roof Replacement
Torquay, Devon
Full strip and re-roof under a temporary scaffold roof so the house stayed dry throughout. New breathable membrane, treated battens, and clay interlocking tiles. Ridge fitted with a dry ridge system for maintenance-free performance.
Structural Roof Timber Repairs
Torquay, Devon
Rotten rafters and wall plates cut out and replaced with new treated timber before re-covering. Everything checked for level and fall so the new roof sits true and drains properly.

Modern breathable membrane laid over the whole roof with new treated battens set to gauge. Dry verge and eaves trays fitted so there's no mortar to fail in Devon weather.
Slate Ridge & Chimney Repairs

Loose ridge tiles lifted, cleaned and re-bedded, with the chimney flaunching renewed and flashings dressed back in. Access by cherry picker to avoid scaffolding costs on a straightforward repair.
Strip, Re-felt & Re-batten

Old tiles and perished felt stripped back to the rafters. New underlay and battens fitted ready for re-tiling, with the rubbish cleared and the drive protected throughout.
Fascias, Bargeboards & Guttering

Rotten timber bargeboards and fascias replaced with maintenance-free uPVC in a colour to match the property. New guttering with correct falls to outlets and vented soffits for roof-space airflow.

Torquay, Devon
Blown and flaking render stripped back to sound material, patched to match, and the whole cottage repainted in a breathable masonry paint. Walls now shed water instead of soaking it up.
